Well I think its time to unlace the shoes and call it quits. I have
released over 10 albums and even got over 10,000 downloads over the past
four years as Sugar Frosted Pacific. I have accomplished more than I
would ever thought I would as SFP. It still amazes me how SFP became
worldwide and people from all over the world was listening to it. It's
crazy how music spreads all over the web. I didn't think I would do much
with SFP and wanted to call it quits after awhile. Then I decided to
continue with it and release more albums. Plus I figure out where to
advertise and post my music at.
Sugar Frosted Pacific
didn't get well known until I started releasing albums through Legal
Free Music on Tumblr.com. That's when things really picked up. I got
more downloads and I felt like I could do more with SFP. So I did. I
ended up putting the albums on other sites and it started to catch on.
It's crazy how putting a link on a site would attract over a 100 hits.
More like a 1,000. It gave me a reason to release more music. So I did
it. I did end up making a Band Camp page, but did delete it a month
later. I decided to keep it with the way I was marketing before with
just simply posting the link. I still got a lot of downloads that way.
So I think it's time to call it quits, but before then I will
release three more albums under the name Sugar Frosted Pacific (one is
even a double LP) later this year. I figured that I mind as well leave
with a bang or something. Plus, I'm starting a new project now. This one has my vocals in it. That's another blog though. Back to SFP, it was good while it lasted. I will post the
discography of Sugar Frosted Pacific sometime this week. It's crazy
that Sugar Frosted Pacific lasted for four years...Just Crazy....
