Sugar Frosted Pacific - Closet Preachers

It's been awhile since Sugar Frosted Pacific has released an album. The last release felt more like a random collection of B-Sides compared to the rest of the albums. Well maybe it was, but this album is a different story. During June-October 2011, I was secretly working on a new album during my free time. At first I wanted some more country like (one of the songs is), but it became more of a concept. I wanted to experiment more with time lengths and different instruments. Closet Preaches has to be one of the longest albums I have ever created. Only 8 tracks, but there is so much in each track. I tried to make it stand out more. Make  it different from the rest.

Closet Preachers was suppose to be released September 2011, but I decided to delay it until now. I figure I should take a break from releasing albums and focusing on other things. I did end up creating a new music project (Puppies And Kittens), but that's a different story. Closet Preacher is an experiment with sound. Most of the songs have two sounds intertwine with them. No song sounds alike and that's what I wanted. An experiment.  Here's the track listing...You can figure out some of the concept by the track names...

1.Tailgating On The Spoon River (Intro)
2. To Drink To Drink To Drag
3. Learning To
4. Demon Revival
5. Turning Water Into Rumplemintz
6. ITS MY HOLY TRAILER (I OWN IT)
7. False Preachings
8. People's Temple (Jones Riot)

And the lovely album art (woohoo)

Thee album is releasing Feb 7th. Be ready...Here's a taste....
