CheesyTaco

What would Kraft think of next for their Easy Mac line. It's my favorite food line because thats all I eat at college. It's great. All I do is supply the water flow and the microwave oven. It's so simple yet can be easily not done right. I ruin a couple Easy Macs in my day.

Well now they decided to make a new flavor. Lets call it the flavor of the week even though I have one left. The new flavor is Cheesy Taco. Doesn't that sound good? I thought it did. I'm not a big fan of it. The name is sexy but the taste isn't that good. I can't say much because I didn't know what to expect. So I shouldn't be complaining much.

For all those Easy Mac fans, I would check it out just because Easy Mac is a great thing for college students. What would they think of next.

Random Crazy Weekend

To be out of place is where I want to be. I actually want to stay up at Ambrosia and I did. The party scene was up again. Full force with crazy people and random things. It was one of my friends bithday too. So the weekend was called B's Birthday Bash. It was a bash alright. Starting up in his room and walking three blocks to party central. We played the usual party games and the same ole things happen again. Being me, I fell down the stairs but saved my drink. Thats how we do it in at Ambrosia. Got to save that drink but get your back marked up. At least people there were concerned which is a good thing. All this happened on a Friday. It was crazy as usual and most of us don't remember what happened. All I know was it was a celebration of B.

Saturday was different. More like an intense day of people wanting to fight. I don't usually like to fight but I sometimes have to jump in just in case. I started the night at my dorm just chilling and seeing the same interactions were going to happen again. I ended going to a friend's house on Gaines for a couple hours. Felt like a bartender behind the bar but I wasn't. Met a distant cousin but I don't believe her. She needs some Morrissey in her if you know what I mean. Well I left and made my way to the main party. Gaines didn't have many people I know there so I went else where. When I got there I ran right into Chalkey and Gaines. They wanted to go to the other party so we drove back. Ran into a bunch of freshmen in groups looking for parties not knowing there were ones just under their noses. Gaines decides to yell Dover because thats where the party was at. They didn't listen though

When we got there, there was a warm welcoming with hugs. I forgot the bag so I went back for it. Gaines came with me saying we should ditch Chalkey and go back to Dover. We did and I got called about it. It was Chalkey's car and he freaked out on us. I drove it back to pick him up. I'm too kind. We ended up back at Dover and a fight almost started. The same ole guy vs guy over girl but the one guy is not a fighter. So the bad ass gets kicked out and decides to throw a beer can through the window. What a genius. 2 vs the whole party. We didn't catch him though.

That sums up my weekend. I didn't know there would be a beer thrown through the window though. I guess volleyball players think they are bad ass for some reason.

Week 1: Thursday

Thursday started as a simple day. Went to training and I almost collapse a couple times because of boredom. I couldn't wait for the night though. To me Welcome Week for college was basically party week and yes I did party every night. I didn't have anything to worry about. So like before I ended up hanging out my friends before heading out. This time it felt special. I was with the girl I liked at the time. I talked to her all the time during the summer so this was the first time I met her face to face since last semester. I also ended up seeing my ex. I felt weird because my ex and the girl I liked were both in the same room but they didn't know each other at the time. We ended up going out again but this time to Brown Street. Brown is famous for its parties. I'm friends with most of the people over there. So when we got there I got a warm welcoming. It's great to see friends again and talk about the old times. We didn't stay there that long because some people felt weird there. That didn't matter to me because I knew I was going to go back there in the coming days. We ended up back at Gaines like last night. This time around we were like the only people there. I feel like I live there now for some reason. I ended up hanging out there for three hours. I ended up at Rohlman in a room I never been to before. I was there with the girl and my friend the Bod. We ended up watching the Wedding Singer and then I finally got some alone time with her. We eneded up talking and then making out. I got to hear the words I've been waiting for all summer

"I've bee waiting for this all summer"

Now I know she feels the same way as I do . We ended up upstairs watching Anchorman and Family Guy. I ended up sleeping right next to her on my friend's bed. That night could possibly be one of my favorite nights of all time. The other day was different. Lets just say I almost passed out during tutor training, fell down a flight of stairs, and got sick to early.

Week 1: Wednesday

When I got back to Ambrose, I was both excited and worried. I finally get the chance to hang out with my friends again. It was a glorious night indeed. I started at my dorm and ended up at a friend's house. It's one of the best houses to party. Everyone is friendly there. We did get out of hand though. The singing of "Pour Some Sugar" and the power ups caused un-wanted guests. These guests were RA's. They are your worst enemy on campus. Once there was a word of them, everyone ran upstairs for safety. We even went hardcore and hide people up in the attic. I was the "booster", but I didn't get up there in time so I hide in the closet. The closet would become a popular for me for some reason. After a couple minutes, we were cleared and only one person was taken away. I stayed there awhile just to watch someone rip their shirt off. It was well worth it and I ended up becoming friends with the house. I ended up heading back to my room to find myself a place to sleep.

Intro to my life

So I'm here at Ambrose for a second year. A lot has change since last year. I feel like I've changed a lot also I just don't feel like looking back at it either. I mean a lot has happened to me both last semester and last summer. Last summer I enjoyed one huge party and vacations. But most of the time I worked and work actually changed the way I am. I have different views and now I'm speaking up more. This time around I prefer to be out and about instead of staying in my room all alone. In these coming blogs, I'll explain what has all happened to me this sophmore year. I think being a sophmore now has really changed everything about me. I feel more adventurous and I even party on the weekdays which isn't a wise decision I've ever made. It all started on the day I got back to Ambrose. This day will still be special to me.

a late welcome

So college is great. All I do is sit around in my dorms or go to classes. Better yet the weekends are great. No more sitting around at home bored stiff. So I get out and about and enjoy my surroundings. It the social part of college and you do meet people other than ur roommate. Great times. I use to write about them but now I don't for some reason. It's like I lost my memory all of the sudden. If I find them, I'll most likely release them on this site as a the homepage of my college life. This is what this blog is for and also for free downloads aka album of the week. A new feature I have added.

So welcome to this blog. I will update weekly with random stuff of my life and other things.

The Graduate concert review

It's always a great experience when you see your favorite bands in concert for the first time. It?s like the greatest time in your life that finally you get to see the band that has rocked your world for months. This is my experience with the concert I went to last Friday night.

I was glad to be back in my home town knowing that only a couple more days The Graduate concert would in town. This band is from the central Illinois and is a hometown favorite. If Central Illinois had a music scene, these two bands would be the front liners. I?m glad to be from the same place as them. I even know them and talked to them many times before. This gives me a great feeling that I have a chance to actually talk to one of my favorite bands of all time. This is every music lover?s dream.

When the concert came along, I was on the road headed towards the Vineyard Café. I didn?t know where it was at first until I realized it was at a church. This was my first rock concert in a church so it had to be good. Most concerts around where I live are actually at churches and American Legions anyways. I got inside and felt excitement around me. There were members from each band there talking to the fans before hitting the stage. Once they hit the stage, they would tune up to the speakers. The Graduate took the longest for some reason. This didn?t affect me at all because I was too anticipated to see them live. I?ve met them before at Ambrose and talked to them about their music. I listened to their debut album at least ten times before the concert. I knew all the words to their songs and what songs they were going to play. So I didn?t need a printed program for the concert. The Graduate started out with a techno instrumental song called Interlude. This song gets goose bumps every time because it?s quiet at first and then gradually gets louder. The song led to a song about having a split personality. Once the leader singer started singing, everyone in the crowd was singing with him. It was basically a sing off and I was even part of it. With great emotion, I belted out every word to every song. The Graduate kept the showing going and showed that they had talent. Their guitarist would be playing keyboard then would switch and play the guitar riffs for the chorus.

The music itself was amazing. They made their own sound of the genre we call alternative music. I haven?t heard a band like them before. They ended playing another keyboard entrance song. This song is called Sit & Sink and ended up being a crowd favorite because it involved the crowd to sing at the end of song. The repeated words of ?Let?s just drink, sit and sink? flooded the crowd with excitement. The Graduate made the concert more a modern classical with the eerie keyboard in most of their songs and how each song can relate to anyone in the song. A big hit was The City That Reads. It talks about loneliness during Christmas and how you want to be with your love one during the holidays. The City That Reads is actually Baltimore, Maryland and it won Best Baltimore Song last year. This shows that everyone get lonely. One of my favorite parts of the show was the band?s reaction to the crowd. They loved how everyone was jamming out to their music so they ultimately played their best. This concert is one of the best concerts I?ve ever been to. The music and lyrics were so clear that I thought I was listening to the album in on my iPod. The themes of each song were different each time. It was like listening to every element of life and how anything or anyone can affect us. The Graduate ended with The Formula. This song is epic and they even pulled out more drums to make the song have a drum solo rather than a guitar solo. It reminded me of African music and how it?s all percussion. I love it because I was a former percussionist in my high school?s band. The song become more instrumentation and syncopated until the familiar word came to the mouths of the crowd. ?Lets just drink, sit and sink? was heard all over once again showing the ending of the show altogether.

The performance itself was amazing and now I want to see them again. It showed me the music culture in my backyard. This shows that music around the world and even my home state can be different and influence people around the world.

Falling behind in preschool

This is the time of the year that I usually scream "fuck" at least three times a day. How I screwed myself in my nose again. It's like I've been fooling myself for a while and playing the dumbass card in Poker. I see myself sitting in front of a computer sprowled out with my mind set on nowhere. Yea, I'm a slacker with an attitude of a douche bag. I really need to set out and do something with my life.

Maybe I should actually like myself instead of a follower. Sorry kids I'm done being a lemming. I'm more different than you think I am. I'm more like a liberal ready to take a conservative down. I'm just sick of the lemming line and I'm forming my own line.

It's time to unleash the fury and describe what happens in college and the random things of life. This is my first blog on this page and it won't be the last.
